Are you getin error messages at all? or are these minor changes that does not affect your reports?!
Did you save the package under the same name as the old package?

I ve never created jobs that checked all my reports, but one thing you could in, e.g. you have changed some data item paths, to copy out the xml and search and exchange the paths...works much faster if your reports are complex and you need to adjust them in several parts.

We have a third party tool named Meta-Manager that allows mass updates of reports when you change a package:

IBM also has a tool designed to help with report migration called Lifecycle Manager.  I haven't used it, but I know it can at least show you which of the reports will break with the package changes.

There is also the Dynamic Report Specification Updater Diagnostic from IBM. It is not recommended for use on production systems due to user error potentially corrupting all of your reports.  :o

I second charon on this. The questions is 'Why do you think that those 200 reports should be updated?' Is it because somebody told you so?

The modification in the package should be done in a way that it does NOT cause the reports to break. The only time reports need to be updated is when some modification is made which will cause the reports to stop working (which is not the correct way of doing it anyway unless it was decided earlier to do it that way for a massive re-vamp or something like that)
