Column with Data Format declared as Currency

I have created a list report using report studio. I have declared about 6 columns to have data format as Currency. When the report runs only 2 columns show the '$' sign infront of the numerical value while the rest does not. Any idea why this might happen and how to fix this problem ? Thanks.

Make sure to select the column body and not the column header before setting the data format property.
