unable to create individual widgets

Hi,

I've created prompts in the report studio dashboard.When i am displaying in the business insight i am not able to see the individual objects (crosstab and charts) to create individual widgets like static dashboard.Please give me the solution to create the customised dashboard in business insight when i am using parameters.

Your best approach is to create the basic, unfiltered objects in Report Studio, and allow your business users to add their own filters to the objects in Business Insight.  This makes creating the original Report Studio reports easier, and gives the business users the flexibility to add only the filters they need.

Hi MF,

I am using month prompt based on that  i need to show MTD,YTD,Prior MTD etc  calculations in the dashboard.When i kept value prompt in the singleton in the report studio i can see the value prompt as the widget in the business insight.

Hi,
You can hide the value prompt in the report studio, so that it will not display in the business insight dashboard report.

Go to value prompt properties -> Positioning -> Visible -> No

then you can hide the prompt, but still it will filters the same as you required.
