Hi

Just wondering what teh best process of disabling a cognos user acocunt. This user was a consumer and has moved to another position for several months but may be back as a consumer. I want this account disabled but keep any saved reports in the my
folders until she returns to this position.

I had  a group created which this user was added to and the group was added to the consumer group. I have currently removed the user in question from the group i created. Also is there a way as an admin to see if there are anything in this users my folders and move or archieve?

regards

Part one is a bit tricky as it depends on how you've configured your security. But if they are no longer a "Consumer" and you've setup security properly they shouldn't see anything. They will still be an "Authenticated user", but provided things are setup correct the user shouldn't see or be able to "run" anything.

Part two, accessing user's "My Folder":
