[SOLVED]Cognos 8 auto login

I'm having great difficulty with getting cognos connection auto authenticating with my active directory namespace. I believe that i've followed the guide correctly but it still prompts me for both my username and password.

I've attached links to some screenshots below, can you spot anything wrong?

Have you looked at the LDAP database via Cognos Access Manager?  Maybe the OS Signon is incorrect or not set.

BTW, normally with pass-through or OS signon the Anonymous User access must be turned off in the IIS settings.

I've now resolved this, the problem was the Anonymous User setting in IIS.

That is correct

We have to go to IIS and then to Virtual Directory( eg c8 or crn)

Open the properties and under Directory Security uncheck the Anonymous access.
