Cognos 8.4.1 attaching multiple copies of same excel report in Scheduled reports

Hi folks,

I am having an issue with scheduled reports in that each scheduled reports sends emails with multiple copies of each excel report attached to a single email.

So for ex. If scheduled report A has 5 recipients, it emails each user with multiple copies of the same report. And the number of copies vary on each report as well. It could be 2 for one report and 4 for another.

Any idea why this would be happening?

 8)  Delete your schedule within the IBM Cognos Administration (Under the Launch button in Cognos Connection) - then set up the schedule again on your original report and the multiple copies should go away.. I had this exact same instance and no one could help at Cognos, but I simply deleted the schedule and set it back up and the multiple copies went away.  Hope this helps.

Thank you...the issue seems to have resolved after removing the existing schedule and creating a new one.
