Can any one know how to remove the dupilcate Values in a report, I tried the Automatically summarize detail values, suppressing duplicates ...when this option is selected  ...we have missing data in the report.

Duplicate rows are a good indication of something not being modeled correctly.

I suggest checking your model... the relationships and Determinants within each Query Subject affecting this report.

The report has data coming from only 2 Query subjects. And I checked the joins are correct. Sql it is generating is also correct against the data base SQL. But the results are incorrect.

Well, Cognos 8 generally doesn't generate bad results randomly on its own, so let's delve into the possible problems.

Can you post the following, please:
1) the SQL that your query studio report is generating
2) the SQL generated in the relationship dialog in Framework Manager, for your 2 query subjects in use.
3). Example of your report output, expected and what you are getting.
