Hi,

I need to create an Operational Dashboard report for a distribution center to show all of the work for the DC for the day. I was planning to create the report in Report Studio and add multiple data containers with primarily "list" objects and a few charts.

Does anyone have some design tips on building a report that will have 10-15 different queries.

I am having trouble getting the data to be aligned and look professional. The lists that display are not aligned vertically or horizontally very well.

Does anyone have some ideas as to how to get the data to be lined up perfectly? Is there formatting that needs to be done to the rows and columns that will prevent the data containers from not aligning properly?

Thanks

Hi,

Would it be possible to just union all the queries together and then use one list object? It wouldn't be pretty, but should resolve the formatting issue. You may need to coalesce some of the columns.

Cheers

You can basically forget perfect lining up of data if the data is not contained in one list, crosstab etc. The union suggestion makes perfect sense if you can line up the data accordingly
