Best practice on Organization Structure modeling.

I believe Org. structure modeling is one of the key aspects of many BI applications.

One of the typical complications is having facts with not additive measures.

One way of modeling could be unfolding the Org. Structure and join fact aliases to each org. structure level.
Of course there are some other dimensions such as time for the facts.

Did anyone have experience with such models?

PS. Let me add a sample report requirement for the discussion:
----------------------
Report 1 header:
Lvl 1 Node Name  | Lvl 2 Node Name | Lvl 3 Node Name | a measure from fact table
----------------------
Report 2 header:
Lvl 1 Node Name  | Lvl 2 Node Name | a measure from fact table
------------------------
