This is very dependant on what you're trying to achieve and what type of database you're using.

First, is this a relational or a dimensional? Second, is this going into a filter or a data item or something else? Or does this prompt only affect the report?

We r Using DB2 Database.Model is relational...
based on prompt selection the data has to be filtered.
