Source report is crosstab report which is based on dimensional model and drill ups/downs can be done by the user. Region is one dimension along which the fact is measured in crosstab. Region dimension has 2 levels. Region and Country
Target report is based on relational model.
- Data Item "Region" is passed to the target report from the source report.
- Filter in the target report is written as follows:
[Region] = ?prmRegionCountry?
or
[Country] = ?prmRegionCountry?
- When drill through link is selected from the crosstab report on a particular region say Asia, target report displays data for Asia only as expected.
- When I drill down from Region say Asia to country level, I see all countries and Asia in the last column. When drill through link is selected on any of the countries, data is displayed in the target report for that country only as expected, but when I drill through from the Asia(which is displayed as the last column in the crosstab when drilling down from Region), data in the target report is displayed for all regions.
- Is it a bug in cognos that drill through links on total values that are displayed on drill down, do not pass the corresponding parameter???
