I have a requirement to pass user name, password using drill through in cognos report. is it possible ??

Hi,

Why do you need to do this? Your current credentials should be maintained automatically when drilling through.

Off the top of my head, I think it is possible to pass a user name and password if you are running another report by physically specifying the URL rather than using the default drill-through functionality. Take a look at this page (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21343503) on the IBM website for the syntax to pass credentials via URL.
