HI

i want to display Mon,tue wed .....sun in the report.

now want to show in the report like this Thu 01-apr-2010
Fri 02-apr-2010

iam using cubes as a datasource

Once you have built the report select the list column (or singletonwith the date in and go to

Properties>Data>Data Format

Select "Date" from the drop-down list and then choose to "Display Weekdays" as Short Name.

you can also change the Date Style to your preferred style.

Run Report

Dude,

you have to cinfirm with ur model first, if the date is set their property as identifier will not show the complete time stamp(string), change that property as 'Attribute' and data type as 'date'...hope this wil fix ur problem
