Hi,
I have scheduled a burst report to email the report output as an pdf attachment. And in the email body I am trying to include a link to a website using the following html tags '<a href = Http://.....>display name</a>' . When I get the email the link is just text and it is not appearing as a url link. and hence I will have to copy the link and paste it in the explorer and access the website. Does anybody have any suggestions how to achieve an active link in the body of the email.

Have you tried without the HTML tags?
You may want to hide a long URL with a short Label so this might not get you what you want but I just sent a burst of 10 different PDF's to my email and simply added http://cognostest which is the alias to my Test environment and in each email I recieved the PDF and in the email body I have an active link to my server.
hey Thanks for the suggestion.. i did try that before and it did not work..I had made a very rookie mistake I missed the mail <HTML> tags...had everything else in but that.. once i got them in everything worked fine...The other thing that I noticed is when the report is set out to burst and in the delivery if we select to send it by email and if we click on the convert to regular text for the email body, the to and the cc address bars appear and it does not allow you to go ahead without entering an address...is this a prob with cognos or am i doing something wrong...
