Title: GTP, Reconcile fail!
Post by: flesh2011 on 29 Mar 2010 06:40:17 AM
Hi.

When I trying to do a GTP following error occur:

Unable to find CAM ID [CAMID("default:u:authid=2484836717")] in the production model for XXXX.

Got this from www. :
CAMID stands for Cognos Access Manager ID, and it represents an internal search path to the recipients. Specify search paths when you want to save burst reports in a directory. You can obtain the path in Cognos Connection. Open the Set properties page for each recipient, and click the View the search path link. Ensure that you use the proper syntax when adding recipients to the burst table.
CAMID is used extensively during report bursting.

My guess is that it`s something with rights. I can`t enter the specific application in connection.

Can somebody specify more from the error?

Thanks

Try validating users on the rights pane of the CAC  - looks like someone no longer exists

Thanks for fast replay.

my result:
There are no invalid or out-of-date CAM objects.

Did security change recently?  Rereading, it's the production side of the model so rights validation won't apply (works against dev version of model).  Not sure how you would go about fixing that

Thanks anyway.

My solution was to restore from backup.
