Cognoids, ???

I would like to display 'Chart Labels' on a Bar chart. No problem. Change Show to Hide within the Properties. Within the X-axis of the Bar Chart I changed the format to Currency and scaled it down -3 (so I could display the results in thousands.

The Issue is when I try to change the style (data format) on the 'Chart Label' that has been shown. It allows me to change it but will not show the changes. Not only does it not change the format to Currency but it also disregards the scale change.

Any thoughts? Ideas?

Hi,

Cognoids? They were all assimilated. Resistance was futile. The proper noun for them is now IBMers.

Have you tried selecting the Y1 axis of your chart and applying the currency format there?

Ahhh right, Big Blue is at the helm and the minions march to the beat of a new drum :D

I did try selecting the Y1 axis and there was no option to change the format (just the font).

I faced the same issue and had no luck except to cast the data inside the query item used for display.

Hmmm - there is in my 8.4.1 version. What version are you currently running?

I am on 8.4, the base version and am lacking this feature. Apparently I need an upgrade :)
