All,
I am using Cognos 8.3 and have created a report the sections data based off of stage for example:

CEO
Action Number | Subj | Status Date|

President
Action Number | Subj | Status Date|

My question is how do I get the report to show the header ie 'CEO' even if there is no data returned?

if valid, try replace null with any value.

Try using 'NO Data Contents' available in property pane.Set the value to 'Yes'
and design the page which would be displayed if no data in returned.
