I don't know why I seem to come up with these strange things but here's another one.
I published a modified Business View package to begin rolling out Query Studio. I created a new query subject with folders under it. In the folders I organized the columns in logical groups - Date Info, Customer Info, Item Info and so on. Published the package to the portal.
Select that package and insert one field (company locations) add a filter. Open a second folder to bring in item informtion and a yellow caution/warning/error icon shows up in the IE status bar, and the hourglass spins forever, never opening the Item folder. Query Studio hangs.
If I take all of the columns and put them in a query subject, without the folders, and go through the same exercise, no problem.
Why would the folders, which are there to organize things anyway, cause Query Studio to hang? Any ideas?

I do not understand your problem. How can you create a folder within a query subject.
Were you creating folders under a namespace?

Right clicked on the Query Item and selected Query Item Folder. As far as I know we're on v1.1.
