Title: How to set a Filter on Aggregate Items (Having-Filters)
Post by: lindero on 17 Jan 2006 04:27:59 AM
Hey gurus,

I have one special reuqest by a consumer and I don't know the answer. Here want the consumer wants to do:

We have a calculated 'count dinstinct' query item in the FM model. He adds the item to the list on the workspace in QueryStudio and wants to set an filter on this item. For example, he wanna get only the people with 3 or more different cars. He runs the report but doesn't get the right resultset. He receives also the all people with 1 or 2 different cars.

Is there basically any possibility for setting a filter on a aggregate item?

I'll be very appreciated for construktive response.

Thanks so much,

lindero

Yes there is.

Ensure that the 'After Aggregation' radio button under the 'Application' heading is checked while creating the filter.

This will ensure that the filters are applied after the calculation has been performed.
