Let me know is there any new or enhanced options available in cross report in latest version compared to lower version.

YES!!

In new crosstab 8.4.1 the conditional formating can be done between two column (Which is not their in previous versions)

For ex: If you want to generate a red color on a column 'Actual' by compairing with a column 'Target' (i.e. Actual<Target then 'Red') this is not possible in reportnet or 8.1/8.2/8.3
