Print Page - TR0118 Data Source Error

Hey everyone, hope someone can help wm with this.

I'm trying to create a cube from and IQD file created in FM. When I try to add the data source I get the following message

(TR0118) Transformer cab't read the database XXX defined in XXX.iqd

I've added the database connection to the cognos.ini file, I can tnsping to the database and can connect to the data source via the portal. Any ideas what I need to do to resolve this?

I'm using transformer 7.4.713.0-0 against an oracle 10g database.

Can anyone help?

I hate IQD's ... Fortunatly now (Cognos 8.3 &+) we can access the Framework model package direcly with Transformer. I suggest you to do it like this in a near futur if you have the good version.

Here some detail about your error coming from IBM ... you should try each of there advice
