Pls suggest if we can create a FW Model out of 2 Cognos packages or 2 data sources.

I was told its is very tough to combine 2 star schemas , is there any way i can do a FM model in any other way

Hi,

I don't know where you got your information from, but it sounds totally wrong to me. The whole idea of FM is to allow you to model data from multiple sources all in one place, and produce whatever packages are appropriate, regardless of where the data is coming from.

You just create a model with one of the datasource and next there will be an option Run Metadata wizard then you import all the tables for the second datasource.Now you create relationships and publish the package..
