Hello Everyone

I had some problems when configuring cognos reportnet
The Error displays in this way

[cryptography]
1.[ERROR].java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError

Can anyone resolve this,,

Hi sudhakar,

Please check the following Path and the included Files.

X:\PROGRAM\COGNOS\CRN\BIN\JRE\1.3.1\LIB\EXT

If there is a File called "JCE1_2_1.JAR" then you must get the File to Update them to "JCE1_2_2.JAR". You can download the newest JAR-Files @ the Cognos Support Site.

Otherwise try this:

The system date on the PC in this case had been changed back to a date in the past, putting it back to the current date allowed the generation of the keys.

Hi,

As per Cu Jolly suggested.... get the new set of .jar files from the Cognos support and replace in this
path -C:\Program Files\cognos\crn\bin\jre\1.X.X\lib\ext.

If it's a new install, sometimes re-installing could fix this.
