Hi all,

Was hoping someone could give me some advise on how to resolve this weird isssue? Everyday our Cognos service restarts itself (at no specific time,but usually between 6 - 8 am).

WHere can I maybe look for some answers?

if its a windows box, maybe there is a Scheduled task which restarts a bat file setup to restart Cognos services...

Hi,

Are you sure its only the cognos service is restarting not the Windows Server it self?. Please, check the autoupdate on the server and let me know if its turned on. you can check by right mouse click on My computer>properties>AutomaticUpdates ...
