Hi,

we are migrating our cubes to cognos 8.4.1. and in the future our IQDs will go away.
How to create Report Studio report as a data source to the cube?

Hi Laxmi,
if iam correct, if ur trying to get iqd sort of source from report studio report, i guess its not possible since the reports are not saved in that format.

Hi,

Build a list report in Report Studio containing the items you want to use in your cube. Go to the properties of the query and turn off the "Auto Group and Summarize" property, then save the report.

This should then be available for use as a data source in Transformer 8.4

Much easier than IQDs from Framework Manager! ;D
