We are using two value prompts with multi select ,and these two are embedded with cascading feature, we eliminated parameter name and the dotted line using Jscript, prior we removed only parameter name ,when we run the report it selecting defaulty dotted line in the first prompt, but normally if we select any value from the first prompt ...then page get refreshes and loads the objects in to the second prompt(bcoz it is cascaded with second prompt) ......but now i want to remove the 'parameter-name' and 'dotted line' from the prompt and do not select any value from the prompt by default after removing these from the prompt1.
and i want to give the choice to the user ,to select value from the prompt1....with out the default selection after removing those parameter name and dotted line..............then only the page should have to refresh and load the values in to the second prompt....any working example please...........
need help it's very urgent to me.....plz
It sounds like you are using javascript to achieve non-standard functionality. I'd guess few if any people will have tried this before, so you may have to wait a while for an answer, if one is forthcoming at all.
