Hi Gurus,
I need a clarification in transformer.
In cube properties,Auto partitioning we have (number of passes) i want to know what exactly is it how it is related to cube creation.

Hi,

This setting limits the number of times Transformer reads the data source when it is creating the partitions in the cube. The partitions are configured based on the number of consolidated records, but if you have specified small partition sizes, Transformer may end up reading the data source many times as the partitions are being set up. You can limit this with the Number of Passes setting if it's appropriate to do so.
