Title: Metric Studio Sample Setup!!

Hi,

Could you please tell me how to setup the metric studio samples in cognos 8.3? I have installled metric studio, created the datasource go_metrics, initialized the metric store and now i am stuck with loading the sample data. I dont have the metric designer installed. I have imported the GO_Metric.zip from the samples and  I can see Go Metric package in my public folder. Inside this Go metric folder I can see Go Extracts, if I run these extracts will the metric store get polpulate? What are the steps to load the sample data? Do we have any sample data files available for loading sample data?

Hi,

It's fully documented in the IBM Cognos 8 Metrics Manager Getting Started Installation Guide.  Look specifically at chapter 3 (page 66 - Set up the Metric Studio Samples).
