we have 2 servers. A and B(I am sure my administrator installed powerplay in server A. but I am not sure where can I go and see the migration tool and what is the name for power play migration tool)

The PowerPlay migration utility is available through Cognos Connection.
Log in as an administrative user, then from the Launch menu, select IBM Cognos Administration.
At the top, select the Configuration tab, then select Content Administration from the left pane.
You should have a button in the top right corner to launch the Migration Assistant (most likely 5th or 6th button along - depends whether you have GO Search installed too).
The MigrateToC8 tools are launched from the command line. They could potentially have been installed anywhere on your server's disk structure - you will need to check with the person that did the install to see where to go to find them.
