Hi Every body,

Here I have a question, I dont know about Jasper Reports, but I have to answer this question, if some one have any answer for this please let me know.

I repeat my question:
Why should we go for Cognos reports instead of Jasper Reports, though we have all the facilities in Jasper which are in Cognos, also Jasper is a Open source and Cognos is payable.

So please let me know if there is any strong reasion.

We are facing that dilema also and if we would not have started with Cognos before Jasper was purchased, we would be a Jasper shop.

One reason for your IT people. It is easier to find a Cognos job than a Jasper job... :)

Honestly, Cognos is an overpriced solution for most shops. This is coming from somone who has been involved with Cognos since 1996.
