u can run Repornet only on oracle, DB2 and SQL server. I mean the content manager works with these database only. U can have MySQL and other database as query database and not as Content Store Database.

Hi,

I should have asked a better question.  I'm aware of the supported environments for reportnet content stores etc.  However, my question was more focussed towards anyone who has developed reports from a MYSQL database.

I've been asked to provide a yes or no answer as to whether it is possible to run reports from a MYSQL database. I've spent a tiny (about 20 minutes) amount of time looking, and I had problems with the MYSQL 'textblob' columns stopping a query subject from validating.

I wanted to know if anyone had any experience implementing a reporting solution running reports from MYSQL, and any possible issues to look out for.
