Hello every one! :

I was trying to install TM1 Win 64bit version on virtual Windows 2008 64bit server, but got error message: "This prossesor type is not supported" Core Hyper-V server is also Win 2008 64 bit, processor: Intel Xeon E5410

I looked at http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=3446&uid=swg27014836 for system requirements, but there isn't listed nor Win 2008 nor Hyper-V virtual servers...

So I'm a bit confused. I can't install TM on Hyper-V based virtual server or I have something miss configured?

on the same core server, Win 2003 32bit virtual server installation completed smoothly...

Might have been the OS - win2008 is not listed as a supported OS for TM1 9.4

Windows 2008 server is not yet a supported OS.

(It may well be possible to get it to install and run with some registry and msi hacking but 1/ you would have to really know what you were doing and 2/ just not worth the effort.)

Thanks for replay.

It's ok for me, but only till some of our clients won't make request to install it on Win2008...
