Hi,
When a report which is running fine in 8.2 is migrated to 8.4 it is displaying an error message RSV-VAL-0003 Unable to find the data item in the query.However the report is running fine.Any ideas why this issue.

Hi did you figure out any solution? I have the same issue..Pls let me know if you could resolve it??

Could be caused by the change in query build by Cognos. Early Cognos 8 versions would add the dataitem to the query regardless whether they were used in a datacontainer,layout or variable. In 8.4 non-used dataitems are stripped from the query unless you actively decide to have them fetched..
