Hello,
Has anyone noticed Freeze Panes in contributor get removed when hitting enter? is this the intended action or a bug? I imagine it is a bug as in the web client you are forever hitting enter when entering numbers and it gets quite annoying when the freezing disappears.

Can someone at least confirm the current behaviour regarding "Freeze Panes" ?
When freezing panes and entering data, once the "enter" button is pressed, does the frozen area disappear?

I just tried this in our environment (8.4 FP1) and I can confirm that it works just as you say, making this feature almost useless

We are on 8.4FP1 and see the same behavior. This is what I found in the help -
To remove the freezing, select Freeze Panes from the View menu, the crosshair lines are removed. You can also remove freezing by changing any of the following:
- numerical or dimensional sorting
- the order of dimensions
- collapsing or expanding dimensions
- zero suppression
- axis layout
- resetting views
- change context
Thanks for your Replies,
IBM have confirmed it is an issue. The helpdesk do not know when it will be fixed.
Cheers
