All-
Any ideas on this
Can CRN1.1MR2 and Cognos 8BI installed on single M/C.
I have CRN installed and working fine Just wanted to know if any1 already started playing with Cog8BI.

Yes but you have to be careful with configuring the ports to be different.. I find it easier to just bring up another server.. Much easier to manage.

That said, I uninstalled S7 and installed C8 on my laptop. Works good... Need more RAM though :-)

Yes they can.  I have exactly this setup running at the moment.  CRN1.1 was already in and running fine, and I added c8 alongside.  For c8 you will need:
1. A separate content store database.
2. Change the dispatcher URI ports from 9300 to another port number so it does not conflict with CRN.
3. Change the shutdown port number from 9399 to another port so it does not conflict with CRN.
4. Set up different virtual directory names for c8 in your web server
5. When restoring the sample databases (GOSL, GORT, GOSLDW etc) use different names (I used GOSL_c8 etc) or you will overwrite the CRN versions - the c8 sample databases contain some different data.
