I have a rather large calculation that I set up hierarchically (with the sub-components rolling up into the main measures TOTAL folder) ... So that when you are in Analysis Studio you can pull over the TOTAL folder (the highest level of the hierarchy) and drill into it to see the sub-components ... this works great in Analysis Studio ... but when I tried to open this up in Report Studio the drilling on the Measures is no longer functional.
Any ideas? Thoughts?
-Thanks-
In Report Studio, click the Data menu, select Drill Behavior...
Click to fill the "Allow Drill-up and Drill-down" selection.
This doesn't work for measures and it is still disabled. ???
The calculations for each were baked into Transformer so the cube knows how to pre-aggregate the sub-totals and totals.
It seems weird that the measures would drill appropriately in Analysis Studio but then be disabled when opened in Report Studio.
Any other thoughts?
thanks
Sorry if this is a dumb question. I was not aware that you can have hierarchy for a measure in transformer.
Did you you just different measures and put them in a Measure Folder or did you create a hieararchy
Thanks
I have the same question as kaso have.
I just group several measures into a Measure Folder. I pull over the Measure Folder into the columns section (or rows section) of the crosstab (not into the measures section of the crosstab). Drilling up and drilling down functions work great in Analysis Studio ... but when I run the report in HTML format (in Analysis Studio) or open this AS report in Report Studio, the drilling behavior on the Measures is no longer functional.
WHY?
Is "Measure Folder" just a folder?
But it works in Analysis studio!! How come they disable the drilling function in Report Studio and HTML format report??? It is so unpractical.
