Hi all,

A quick question. How do you change the name of a model/application that is displayed in the title bar of Internet Explorer? ???

I have tried removing the app from CAC and reattaching it with a new name, also have tried changing the underlying db name, all to no avail. So any ideas everyone?

when you remove the application from the Administration Console and add it back in you must change the "Application Display Name" to whatever you want displayed. But in 8.2/8.3/8.4 you must GTP and tick the "Create a package" box to make the change valid in Cognos Connection.
