Title: Installing Cognos 8.2 BI Analysis for Microsoft Excel

Hi guys,

I've tried to install this Excel plug-in on a clients pc and I get this error message:
HRESULT: -2147024894
When I click OK, I can use Excel without any problem nut the Cognos 8 toolbar hasn't been installed.
When I go to Tools > Add-ins > I can select the Cognos add-in but nothing happens.
This has been tested on a laptop using Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003. I also have the correct .Net Framework version (2.0) installed.

Can anyone help me?

Did you ever get this issue resolved? I have the same problem installing over 8.4.
