Title: Status on Internet Explorer 8 support for Cognos 8.4?

Hello all,

Just wanted to know if anyone has any insight as to when Cognos will support IE 8 for Cognos 8.4? I understand that IE 8 is not supported currently. I have reviewed previous posts and it appears that others are facing problems when using IE 8 and Cognos Viewer, Framework Manager and Report Studio.

Has anyone receiving any information on when IE 8 will be supported?

It seems that adding the portal adress to the trusted sites and reducing the security level for the trusted sites help a bit the compatibility.

I have seen some problem with Excel export.

I would say it is like 80-90% compatible...
