Title: Joining Two Queries.
Post by: RAJESH_COGNOS on 29 May 2009 08:51:27 AM
Hello,
I created query3 which joins Query 1 and Query 2,But for some reason I dont see query 3 in the insertable objects pane.

Do I need to do anything to make it available for inserting the objects on to my reports.

It says that doing that I am creating some circular Dependency.

hi

try the following...if this is a list report for example....start with a blank report page ...create q1 nd then q2 in the query builder and then do a join quesry(q3). once complete go and drag a list hthe blank page this will create q4. Then you need to associate q4 with the join query(q3).
