Title: How to define scope relationships in FM
Post by: kalyan_y on 26 May 2009 11:12:35 AM
Hi,
I created a regular dimension. I have created a query subject which contains a single fact. Now I want to define scope relationship between these two. Can anyone suggest me regarding this.
I defined one, but when running the report, i'm getting cross joins error.

Hi,

If u have already created relationship b/w the Dimension and the Fact table, after creating Regular and Measure dimension scope relationship will be created by default.

If u want to define scope relationship later, click on the dimension map and select the measure for u want to define scope, click the icon set scope.

Also u can refer to FM guide for deatils.
