Title: Cognos Connection

Hi, I'm receiving the following error (refer to attached jpg) when loading Cognos Connection on my machine and assume it is a browser related issue. All my standard pop up menu items appear with red crosses. Any suggestions or resolutions would be much appreciated.

hi,

this refer to your browser, i thing that FireFox or IE 7 or more can resole the probleme.
Try this solution it may be right because i had it first.

This is an issue with your Cognos Configuration, your URI should be setup as hostname not localhost

so for instance

Code Select

http://localhost:80/cognos8/cgi-bin/cognos.cgi


should be
Code Select

http://hostname:80/cognos8/cgi-bin/cognos.cgi


This is the case with the dispatcher URIs as well
