Title: Excel version of report expands first column due to header above

We have a report that lists sales by agency, with a summary above the details for each agency.  It looks fine in HTML but needs to be in Excel format.  When running and saving as an Excel spreadsheet.  The first column expands to the same width as the Agency header.  Is there anyway to make the Excel version autmatically expand across multiple columns to make it look like the HTML version?

I have attached a combined screen shot of both report outputs.

This is a limitation in Cognos. Refer KB Document# 1038226.1 in cognos supprot.
