hi

Does anyone know if it is possible to name dynamically the worksheets of a report when exporting to excel. I have a Page Set that show in each page some information, but I would like to name each the worksheet with a different name.

Yes you can, add the rename the page names in Cognos in Page Explorer

Example Page1 becomes ' Title Page'
Page2 becomes 'First Page'

Etc.Etc

We have found though there is a limit on the number of characters excel can hold in the sheet name so dont name the page a long name...Your have to test the number of characters your allowed.

Is there a way to have a field name, so when the report runs, each sheet in a workbook is labelled differently?
