Hi,

When a report working fine in 8.2 version is opened and executed in 8.4 version an error message is displayed "Encountered a parameter value with no name or an empty name"

Also another issue is RQP-DEF-0511 The aggregation rule for the object user has been changed to 'automatic'.

Could anyone help me to find what the issues are?

Did you copy the report to clipboard in 8.2 tools menu and copy into a notepad file?

Then select all/Copy in notepad

In 8.4 Report Studio , open from clipboard and try.

I have found certain date functions dont work in 8.4 and work in 8.2

We have an outstanding bug with cognos about this...
