Hi all,

I was exploring contributor work offline with the help of userguide. I found that Workkoffline option of File menu is disabled. I do not have MS excel installed on my pc..Is this cause of option disablng?

Kindly shed some light over this

Did you reserve user class for offline work? You can find this settings in elist & rights dialog, in rights part, at the bottom of the screen...

I have modified the rights of the application as suggested but I still have workoffline option grayed out

let me know where am I going wrong

After changing the options in elist & Rights - did you GTP?

gtp means go to production .
u can find in contributor green arrowmark icon (4th)

Hi

The other thing you need to do is make sure that you have cleared the check box for Prevent offline working.

This is in the Contributor Admin Console, under Development/Web-client Configuration/Application Options. Once this is unchecked then run a GTP.
