HI frnds waiting 4 ur reply...
if you are in reportnet , I suppose you first need to add the CSV file to Framework manager.
Then you can rename the column in Framework manager, and in tabular sql , you can access the columns like a normal package field.
If you are not defining the csv in a framework package , I think you have at least to add a data source reference into Connection , to know where the file is.

MrCool...
Sorry but maybe I'm understanding you wrong, but it seems to me that you don't take any notice of my reply? Am I wrong? Do you think that we are here especially for you???
we need to generate the report only in tabular SQL not in tabular model...
If you use a tabular model for your report, you can take advantage of all the work done in Framework Manager to resolve multilingual data, usually implemented by adding macros into the SQL of data query subjects.
If you use tabular SQL, you're bypassing all of this and therefore losing all this functionality in your report. I'm afraid if you must use Tabular SQL, you're going to have to do a lot of hard work to implement multilingual column headings. It's probably going to be easiest to use a language variable and conditional values for each of your column headings.
Probably not what you wanted to hear, but that's one of the penalties of using Tabular SQL...

Hi MRCOOL,
ReportNet ADDICT is rite, as every body helping each other and inturn to make the forum more intresting. I can understand u r urgency. Dont push too hard.
But this is general tendency to be eager when some one is not replying, as u can see the ReportNetAddict got kicked off when no one appreciated his hard work for tutorials.
Hope u can understand

Hi Mrcool,
Did you try defining a language variable in your report and using conditional values for each of your column headings as I suggested earlier?Ã, Although it's some effort to set up, it should work...
Just a little confused as to why you have closed the topic unsolved???

MF.
Thnx MFGF....I know this sol...but i need another aproach which the heading come from CSV file..for that reason I kept Unsolved..
