Title: Pull data from multiple reports into a single report
Post by: KEKeogh on 16 Feb 2009 10:27:29 AM
Hey again.

I have multiple reports calculating the availability of our programs under different computing types (ie Web, Online, Operational, Batch, Transmission & Other).  What I would like to do is take the total availability from each report and report them out in one report.

I  can't create one single list report as the tables from which the data comes from doesn't have common joins.

I was thinking a drill through report but I'm really new to this and can't find much info on how to do them.

Is this a possibility or am I dreaming?

Thanks
Kathie

please enlighten us all with your solution  ;D
My guess is that you used layout component reference to other reports to pull data from them into your new report.

Since I couldn't figure out the whole drill-through procedure, I was able to instead re-create the list reports in one report.

Only I had to be sure that each list report was in it's own block with it's own filters.

Now I could actually do away with the individual reports but they may come in handy for people who just want one piece of the information.
