Hi all,
i am new to cognos.
help me out with this.

how do we utilize JAVA SCRIPT within cognos and where we do apply it??????

You can drag the HTML item from the toolbox and add HTML tags with javascript embedded in it... But inorder to manipulate the objects in your report you would need to know the name with which you can refer each object which sadly im not aware of :(

What Raj said is correct, so just have a look at the attached sample report you will have an idea about using script in Report Studio.
