But i just cant, when i ty to create the model, i click new project, new db, with name sample, type db2 and DB2 database name: 'sample', but i dont know what to put on DB2 'connect string:' neither in 'Collation sequence:' .Can anybody explain me?I tried a conection string db2 standart but allways gives me an error Report server not responding, when i try to create a model with databases pre-defined like great_outdoors_sale or great_outdoors_warehouse but gives me an error immediatelly

Did you install DB2 client software to create a native connection to the DB2 instance/database?
In DB2 terms connecting to an instance is an attach. From the error message it looks like db2 cannot resolve which database to acces.
